On Thursday, Oct. 24, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks announced a 414-acre addition to the Isaac Homestead Wildlife Management area bringing the WMA to approximately 1,532 acres of native wildlife habitat and cultivated farm ground. “We are grateful for our relationships with our agricultural families who have been our partners in the Hysham area for many years,” FWP Region 7 supervisor

Poplar’s volleyball team put up a good battle but lost at home against Scobey by an 18-25, 19-25, 22-25, final on Thursday, Oct. 24. After falling behind by an 11-5 margin in the first set, the Indians stormed back to 11-8 on two kills by Braelyn Nordwick and a block by Lilliana O’Neal. Aces by Nordwick pulled Poplar to 14-12, but Scobey grabbed an 18-13 lead on the net play of Camrie
