The Poplar Indians opened the District 2B volleyball tournament by downing Wolf Point, 25-12, 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, in Malta on Thursday, Oct. 31. Poplar Drops Matches On Friday


Poplar’s volleyball team lost matches against Fairview and Harlem during the District 2B tournament in Malta on Friday, Nov. 1. Fairview defeated the Indians by a 25-7, 25-21, 25-11, final. Quintana Young led Poplar with four aces and five kills in the match. Rebecca Gorder finished with 16 assists. Angelina Escarcega accounted for 36 digs. Makenzie Crawford had three blocks.
