Culbertson Track Expects To Compete Near Top Of District 2C
Culbertson returns three athletes who qualified for the Class C state track meet last season.
Top athletes back for Culbertson include Destiny Thompson in the javelin, Reese Moon in the 100 and long jump and Bridger Salvevold in the 100.
Thompson, a senior, placed third at the divisional meet in the javelin.
Moon, a junior, took seventh at the state meet in the long jump.

Culbertson Golf Sees Large Turnout For Upcoming Season
Culbertson lines up its largest golf squad in memory as the team begins its 2024 campaign.
“Our team nearly doubled in size from last year,” Culbertson coach Jimie Lou Morris said. “The golf team this year has six boys and four girls.”
Returning golfers for the boys’ team are senior Mathew Wadsworth and Mark Kirkaldie.

Bainville’s golf program has a good turnout of 10 students this season.
“This is the most that I’ve ever had,” Coach Dan Lambert said. He estimates that he’s been coaching for eight years.
Returning golfers for the Bulldogs include Alex Strickland, Kailyn Romo and Chandi Johnston. Romo qualified for the state meet last year.

Red Hawks Look For Strong Finishes During Track Campaign
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks have 19 athletes including four senior boys out for track this season.
Seniors on the squad are Mason Dethman, Cian Logan, Daniel Forizs and Nate Stentoft.
Dethman enjoyed an excellent junior track season for the Red Hawks as he placed fourth in the 200-meter dash and fifth in the 100 at the Class C state meet. He also qualified for the state meet in the shot put,
