Cowboys Earn All-State Football Honors


Four players from the Culbertson Cowboys were selected to the eight-man All-State football team this season.
The Cowboys placed second in the Eastern Conference and won a playoff game this year.
Voted to the All-State squad were Reese Moon, Gavin Deen, Mark Kirkaldie and Bridger Salvevold.
First team All-Conference picks were Moon at running back and linebacker, Deen at defensive end, Kirkaldie at defensive end and Salvevold at quarterback.
Earning second team All-Conference honors were Deen at offensive guard, Kirkaldie at tight end, Dawson Bergum at defensive back and Micah Eagle Boy at linebacker.
Also voted All-State from the conference were five players from state champion Fairview: Tyler Loan, Deacon Gackle, Wyatt McPherson, Brody Bushnell and Keegan Skogas. Other All-State from the Eastern C were Scobey’s Cooper Axtman, Circle’s Conner Guldborg, Circle’s Brecklyn White, Scobey’s Brecken Maher, Plentywood’s Ben Hagan and Forsyth’s Connor Rhodes.
