Pheasant Hunting Season To Open Oct. 12

Pheasant season opens on Saturday, Oct. 12. The seasons for mountain grouse, sage grouse and partridge are already open. The healthy population of upland game birds and significant access to public lands should make the season a successful one.

Upland Game Bird Enhancement sites and Block Management areas, as well as public lands and other private lands, provide good opportunities for hunting. To hunt on private lands, hunters need to make sure they have landowner permission.
