Froid Council Reports Potholes Filled

At the Froid Town Council’s brief meeting July 15, public works director Alan Engelke has been busy filling potholes. He also reported the town’s lawn maintenance hire has been doing a great job keeping up with the mowing.

Minutes and claims were approved for June. The council tabled the library improvements request again to get a quote from another contractor.

The council also tabled a building permit pending more information. The request was for a mobile home to be brought in from someone who doesn’t live in Froid and hasn’t yet purchased the lots he intends to place it.

Two meetings are scheduled in August: the regular meeting Aug. 12 and a budget hearing that’s date has yet to be set.
