Circle To Host Red Carpet Movie Premiere

Circle is having the opportunity to host a Red Carpet movie premiere on Friday, July 19, at the Circle Cinema.

Circle native Chad Quick is production designer for Boneyard. Quick reached out to Circle Cinema manager Justice Kluth with the idea of having a movie premiere on Montana soil.

Quick will attend the premiere. Also in attendance will be former Wolf Point native Allison Whitmer, the film commissioner for the Montana Film Office.

Boneyard stars Mel Gibson, 50 Cent and Brian Van Holt. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

Quick received his art education from The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohi0, and The Art Institute of Dallas in Texas. After earning a degree in computer animation, Quick ran the art department at Old Tucson Studios.

Quick also ran the construction department at the Gaslight Theatre in Tucson Ariz., both from 1998-2007. During this time he worked on various films, television series, commercials and live concerts including Kenny Rogers, Eddie Money, Charlie Daniels, Kenny Chesney and many more. On the summer of 2020, Quick became the general manager of the Roswell Film Studios in Roswell, N.M., and continues to design films across the country.

For the past 20 years, Whitmer has been involved in filmmaking, beginning with The Horse Whisperer as well as the adaptation of the Native American breakthrough novel, Winter in the Blood, penned by the acclaimed author James Welch. Most recently, Certain Women brings the everyday stories of Montana women to life. Her worldwide clients have included Valentino, Virgin Records and Italian Vogue. She actively promotes historic preservation and youth education.
