Soul Blend has joined the very limited landscape of local coffee shops in the Wolf Point area with a new location at 213½ Fallon St., just off U.S. Highway 2. The shop is tucked into the alley next to Wolf Point Warehouse Flooring. Jayden Diener and Scott Keen with the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture presented business owner Elizabeth Solberg with a First Dollar certificate June 1.

Solberg is the school nutrition director for Wolf Point School District and her family helped start the first drivethru espresso shop in Wolf Point with the now defunct Espresso Madness. Solberg told the Northern Plains Independent that she plans to devote attention to her new coffee shop now that school is out for the summer.

“I have been working full time,” Solberg said. She said her mother, Ceceilia, and daughter Sophia have been instrumental in keeping the new business going during its early stages.

“It’s really brought us together as a family,” she said.

Solberg said she wanted to provide the community with more beverage and dining options. Her current menu offers hot and cold drinks, including lattes, Americanos, cappuccinos and chai, as well as drip coffee, Lotus and Zoomies energy drinks, granitas and Italian sodas. She also offers baked goods and sweets.

“I am planning to offer wraps and other snacks soon,” Solberg said.

Solberg describes Soul Blend as a pop-up establishment, so keep an eye on the business’s Facebook page for impromptu events. Following our chat on Saturday, Solberg hosted a tie dye shirt workshop with Janet’s Planet.

“I have been dreaming of having my own coffee shop since Espresso Madness days,” Solberg said in a recent social media post. “If you’re a local, you’ll know what I speak of. But just know I love coffee and making people smile!”

Soul Blend’s current hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Check the Soul Blend Facebook page for updates or call 406-650-6189.
