The Wolf Point Wolves ran to a third-place finish in the boys’ team standings during track action in Lambert on Thursday, April 25.

Top boys’ teams were Plentywood with 79 and Fairview with 69 points. Wolf Point tallied 50 points.

Savage and Saco tied for first in the girls’ standings with 69 points each.

Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers earned top honors in the 800-meter run at 2:06.56 and 3200 at 10:01.85.

Michael Bell claimed first place in the shot put with a best of 42-4. Charles Page took fifth in the event at 40-6.

Maddox Reum also had a solid day for the Wolves as the senior finished third in the 100 at 11.44 and third in the 200 at 23.76.

Both of Wolf Point’s boys’ relay teams placed at the meet. The 1600-meter relay team featuring Reum, Preston Swenson, Jayden Dominique and Tavian Bell finished fifth at 4:03.39. The 400-meter relay team of Reum, Seth Landsrud, Swenson and Dominique took sixth at 48.82 seconds.

Tavian Bell cleared 7-6 in the pole vault for fifth place. Reilly Rees was sixth in the 3200 with a time of 12:45.77.

Also in the top 10 were T. Bell at seventh in the 800, M. Bell at eighth in the discus, Landsrud at ninth in the 200, Rees at 10th in the 1600, Trenton Hamilton at 10th in the 3200 and Lennoxx Lilley at 10th in the discus.

In the girls’ division, Amaya Martinez had a best of 87-4 for fourth place in the discus.

Teagan Williams cleared 6-0 for sixth place in the pole vault.

Others in the top 10 were Adalynn Smith at seventh in the 400 and Marley Moran at eighth in the discus.

Wolf Point will host the Gene Nelson Memorial Invitational on Friday, May 3.
