Froid Boys Claim Sixth-Place At Richey/Lambert Meet

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks enjoyed a solid showing during the track meet in Lambert on Thursday, April 25. The boys’ team accounted for 39 points for sixth place in the team standings while the girls’ team added 11 points.

Mason Dethman placed second in the 200 at 23.67, second in the 400 at 55.23 and fourth in the 100 at 11.6.

Daniel Forizs finished fourth in the 400 at 58 seconds.

Taking sixth were Eduardo Orozco in the triple jump at 30-9 and Cian Logan in the discus at 114-1.

The 400-meter relay team of Forizs, Nate Stentoft, Roberto Orozco and Dethman placed third with a time of 47.96 seconds.

In the girls’ division, Isabelle Nordwick ran the 400 in 1:07.33 for third place and Mara Salvevold ran the race in 1:09.22 for fifth place.

Jordyn Breuer had a time of 2:59.06 in the 800 for fifth place.

The 400-meter relay team of Nordwick, Breuer, Leah Murray and Salvevold took sixth with a time of 58.26 seconds.

Also in the top 10 were Vala Gregor at seventh for the 3200, Nordwick in eighth for the triple jump, Cody Olson in ninth for the 400, Rylan Young in ninth for the 110-meter hurdles and seventh for the triple jump, Logan in ninth for the shot put and Brennen Roseleip in 10th for both the hurdle races.
