Bulldog Teams Earn Over 30 Points Each At Lambert

The Bainville Bulldogs finished with 38 points in the girls’ division and 35 points in the boys’ division at the Richey/Lambert track meet on Thursday, April 25.

Bainville’s boys’ 1600-meter relay team featuring Isaiah Bjorge, Kaiden Holmes, Reese Harmon and Samuel Butikofer finished first at 3:47.88.

S. Butikofer cleared 6-0 for first place in the high jump. Charles Butikofer cleared 5-6 for fourth place.

Reese Harmon ran the 800 in 2:14.23 for third place. Kaiden Holmes took fourth place at 2:14.99 and Rowan Wilson was fifth at 2:19.34.

Elsie Wilson led Bainville’s girls as the junior placed second in the 300-meter hurdles at 50.22, fifth in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.84 and third in the 100 at 13.05 seconds.

Lila Butikofer earned second in the discus with a best of 93-10.

Hailey Berwick finished second in the 400 at 1:05.87.

Miah Pippenger took fourth in the shot put at 30-9.

The girls’ 400-meter relay team of Wilson, Butikofer, Pippenger and Berwick finished fifth with a time of 56.43 seconds.

Also in the top 10 were L. Butikofer at seventh in the shot put, E. Wilson in seventh for the long jump, Pippenger in eighth for the javelin, Berwick in 10th for the 200, Harmon in 10th for the 400, C. Butikofer in ninth for the 300-meter hurdles, eighth in the long jump and 10th in the shot put and S. Butikofer in eighth for the javelin.
