Bainville’s Track Team Competes In Sidney

Bainville’s girls’ track team scored 21 points to tie for ninth place at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday, April 20.

Hailey Berwick ran the 400-meter dash in 64:14 seconds for second place.

Elsie Wilson placed third in the 100 at 13.76 seconds, fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at 17.75 seconds and sixth in the long jump at 16-6.

Miah Pippenger earned fifth in the shot put with a best of 31-11.

Wilson was eighth in the 400 and 10th in the 200. Addison Hansen took 16th in the discus. Pippenger was 20th in the javelin and 25th in the discus. Berwick was 18th in the long jump. Siena Martinez finished 19th in the 300-meter hurdles.

The Bulldogs scored eight points in the boys’ division for 15th place.

Samuel Butikofer cleared 5-10 for second place in the high jump. Charles Butikofer cleared 5-6 for eighth.

Reese Harmon and Rowan Wilson tied for eighth in the 800. S. Butikofer was 14th in the 400 and 18th in the javelin. C. Butikofer was 24th in the javelin. Keegan Vaira finished 20th in the 400.
