2024 National Ag Day Essay Contest Winners Announced

The 2024 National Ag Day video winners have been selected. The winners were chosen based on the theme: “Agriculture in the Future: If I had two minutes to talk to a farmer.”

Formerly a written and video contest, the program switched to all video entries this year.

The first-place winner, Sophia Kawamura from Bothell, Wash., receives a $1,500 prize. The second- place winner, Imani Laird from Newton, Mass., will receive $1,000. Helen Henry from Corvallis, Ore., is the third-place winner and receives $500.

All three winning entries will be played during the Ag Day Virtual Event and at the USDA Event on National Ag Day March 19. All three winning entries can be viewed online at https:// www.agday.org /2024-con-test winners.
