Teams Prepare For Eastern C Divisional Basketball Tournament

Basketball teams will battle for state berths during the Eastern C divisional tournament held in Glasgow this weekend.

Action begins Wednesday, Feb. 28, with the boys’ tournament. Top seed from District 2C Plentywood will face North Country at 3 p.m. Scobey will play Froid/Lake at 4:30 p.m. Culbertson will meet Circle at 6 p.m. Top seed from District 3C Lustre Christian will battle Savage at 7:30 p.m.

The championship for the boys’ tournament is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The girls’ tourney starts Thursday, Feb. 29, with the top seed from District 2C Plentywood meeting Circle at noon. Scobey will face Richey/Lambert at 1:30 p.m. Bainville will play Lustre Christian at 6 p.m. Bainville and Lustre have split two regular- season meetings. Top ranked North Country meets Savage at 7:30 p.m.

The girls’ title game is Saturday at 7 p.m. The top two teams advance to the state tournament.
