Lustre Sweeps Dodson

Lustre Christian cruised to two league basketball victories over Dodson on Friday, Feb. 2.

Lustre’s girls won by a 6821 final.

The Lions earned a 27-6 lead in the first quarter and increased the margin to 50-15 at the half.

Top scorers for Lustre were Kencia Brown with 16, Alexa Reddig with 11 and Lauryn Holzrichter with 10 points.

Also scoring were Sydney Klatt with eight, Lauren Fast with seven, Grace Brown with six, Abby Olfert with four, Hannah Brown with two, Meredith Valentine with two and Jaden Gibson with two.

Jazlyn KillEagle scored 11 points for Dodson.

In the boys’ game, the Lions earned a 79-33 victory.

Lustre jumped out to a 2613 advantage in the first quarter and led 48-20 at the half.

Reaching double figures for the Lions were Terran Joseph with 22, Byron Ewing with 14 and Cam Reddig with 12.

Also scoring were Cayden Klatt with nine, Brian Guedes with seven, Diek Olfert with six and Clay Reddig with five points.
