Frazer Girls Knock Off Nashua

 

Frazer’s girls’ basketball team outscored Nashua, 260, in the first quarter en route to a 70-17 league victory on Thursday, Jan. 18.

The Bearcubs led 52-3 at the half and 58-11 after three quarters of play.

Top scorers for Frazer were Maci Fourstar-Sibley with 17, Angelina White with 16 and Baily Beston with 11 points.

Also scoring were Shakira Beston with six, Isabelle Fourstar with six, Katherine Roundface with five, Mariah Beston with three, Lola Romero with three and Aubrey Mail with three.

Gracyn Sibley scored nine points for Nashua.

In the boys’ game, Nashua won by a 98-58 final. Grady Nielsen pumped in 48 points for Nashua.

The Porcupines held a 2814 lead at the end of the first quarter and increased the gap to 52-31 at the half.

Top scorers for Frazer were Gabriel Beston with 22 and Joseph Beston with 13 points.

Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Zayden Hentges with nine, Ty Fourstar with eight, Cassius Smoker with four and Christopher Fox with two points.

Also reaching double figures for Nashua were Noah Leckie with 13 and Jackson Abern with 11 points.
