Woman Dies In Crash Near Fort Kipp

 

A 28-year-old female driver was killed in a crash near Fort Kipp early Saturday, Dec. 23.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash happened at 2:51 a.m. at 3365 BIA Route 1.

The Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling east on BIA Route 1 and went off the road into the south ditch. The vehicle hit a field approach, causing the vehicle to become airborne. Once the vehicle landed, it rolled multiple times and came to rest on its roof.

The driver, Kendra Bets His Medicine, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 24-year old female passenger was also injured in the crash and transported to the Billings Clinic.

Alcohol and speed were suspected causes of the crash.
