Froid/Lake Girls Lose At Plentywood

Froid/Lake’s girls’ basketball team put up a good fight but lost at Plentywood by a 35-30 final on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The Red Hawks gained a 9-7 lead in the first quarter and held a 20-15 half-time advantage.

Plentywood bounced back for a 25-24 lead in the third quarter.

Isabelle Nordwick led Froid/Lake’s attack with nine points. Adding five points each were Mara Salvevold and Brooklynn Nordwick.

Also scoring for the Red Hawks were Avery Johnson with four, Keira Stentoft with three, Jaeleigh Davidson with two and Lilly Johnson with two.

Top scorers for Plentywood were Audrey Sampson with eight, Mallory Tommerup with seven and Lexi Kittelson with seven.
