Students place At Forsyth Invite

The Culbertson speech and drama team traveled to the Forsyth Dogie Invitational on Dec. 9.

“It was a great experience for our young team,” said coach Jeri Gustafson.

Placing were Samantha Annett, first in memorized public address; Colt’n Rees, second in memorized public address; Harrison Green, second in informative (Green placed second due to tie-breaking procedures); Sublime Cady, third in memorized public address; Florian Budurean, fourth in humorous solo; Jaxon Flinn, sixth in informative; Klesta Goci, seventh in informative; and Josie Simonsen, eighth in dramatic solo.

Also competing and barely missing the break to finals were Logan Berwick and Chris Chilson.

In Class C Speech Sweepstakes, CHS placed second. The next scheduled tournament will be on Saturday, Dec. 16, in Plentywood.
