Students Win Gold In Miles City
The Culbertson speech and drama team was up and on the road to Miles City for the CCDHS Invitational Saturday, Nov. 11. Coach Jeri Gustafson said, “This dedicated group was on the bus at 4:30 a.m., eagerly awaiting their competitions.”
Placing for Culbertson were: Harrison Green, first in informative speaking; Samantha Palmer, second in memorized public address; Colt’n Rees, third in memorized public address; Josie Simonsen, fifth in dramatic oral interpretation; Jaxon Flinn, sixth in informative speaking; and Florian Budurean, eighth in humorous oral interpretation.
Making their debut performances were Klista Goci and Owen Annett.
The team brought home the gold, placing first in Class C speech sweeps.
The next scheduled competition will take place Saturday, Nov. 18, as the team travels to the Billings Central Invitational, which will be hosted on the MSU-B campus.
