Culbertson Holds Home Meet

Culbertson hosted a cross-country meet that featured nine teams on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Scobey took first place in the boys’ team standings with nine points and Plentywood placed second with 12 points.

Baker’s Hunter Bailey was the overall winner with a time of 18:11.54.

Colin Purvis of Culbertson/ Bainville took 16th place with a time of 25:03.60.

In the girls’ division, Scobey earned first with 10 points followed by Circle with 23 and Fairview with 25 points. Scobey’s Mia Handran finished first at 20:21.22.

Rebekah Ellerkamp of Culbertson/ Bainville earned seventh place at 23:29.61.

The state cross country meet is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21, in Kalispell.
