Accident Involving Tractor


Emergency services responded to a tractor and vehicle accident on Montana Highway 25 Friday, Sept. 29. The Montana Highway Patrol headed the investigation. Also responding were the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s deputies, Wolf Point Fire Department, EMS, Wolf Point Police and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice. The highway patrol reports that a GMC Yukon and John Deere tractor were heading west on Highway 25 when the Yukon ran into the back of the tractor. The collision caused the tractor to go off the right side of the road and overturn. The driver of the tractor was trapped and needed to be rescued. The driver of the tractor was transported by ambulance for serious injuries. The driver of the Yukon suffered minor injuries.
