Bulldogs Win Matches At Tournament

Bainville High School’s volleyball team advanced as far as the semi-final round during the Scobey Invitational Tournament held on Saturday, Sept. 9.

During pool play, the Bulldogs defeated MonDak, 25-13, 25-11, and Nashua, 25-7, 25-15, while splitting sets against Plentywood and Circle. The Bulldogs took third place in the pool.

Bainville then defeated Ekalaka in straight sets to open elimination play. The Bulldogs fell to Plentywood in the semi-final round.

Bainville coach Kallie Clarke said the tournament was a good chance to see different teams from the division.

“As a team, we are still working on playing consistently from set to set and we hope to build on the progress we made,” Clarke said.

The Bulldogs will play at Nashua on Friday, Sept. 15, and at Frazer on Monday, Sept. 18.
