Turns Around Celebration On Tap This Weekend
The 16th annual Turns Around Celebration is set for Aug. 18-20 at American Legion Park in Poplar. Camping day is set for Aug. 17. Grand entries are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Guaranteed payouts are offered in golden age, adult, teen and junior categories. A parade will line up at the American Legion Club downtown Poplar at 10 a.m. Saturday.
A candlelight ceremony sponsored by Spotted Bull Treatment Center is set for Sunday.
Food vendors will be on hand, as will toy and craft stands. Hookups for the weekend are available for trailer campers.
