Sherry Longtree

Sherry Lynn Longtree Turning Bear, Cánté Wasté Wiyá “Good Hearted Woman”, 68, of Poplar died July 21, 2023.

She was born June 19, 1955, to Louise Crazy Bull and James “Jim” Turning Bear.

She was a CNA in at Poplar Hospital, then later became a dental assistant at Poplar IHS for many years until her retirement.

She loved driving around and listening to music of all kinds, playing bingo and machines. She loved spending time with grandchildren and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Longtree of Wolf Point; son, Christopher Longtree Sr. of Poplar; four grandsons; and her significant other, “Suess.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
