Culbertson Museum Celebrates Birthday

The Culbertson Museum celebrated a 32nd birthday over the weekend. Festivities were hosted on Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30. A variety of pies were available, prepared by museum members and directors. LeRiesa Waldhsusen-Zahn was the winner of the quilt raffle.

Jill Herness told the Community News that 50 people attended. She said approximately $350 was raised, adding to $650 on the year so far.

“I was really surprised at the number of people who came despite the construction,” Herness said. She said funds will be used to finish the caboose project and added that another $550 is needed to complete the project.
