Wolf Point Holds AAU Golf Tournament


The Wolf Point AAU golf tournament attracted 18 kids to the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Saturday, July 22.
The group included 15 golfers who were 12 years and under.
Nine adults also golfed in the tournament.
Glasgow’s Eli Feezel shot an 86 for first place in the boys’ 18 and under division. Poplar’s Landon Young placed second with an 18hole score of 96.
Lukas Young earned first in the boys’ 15 and under division with a round of 97.
McKinlee Paulson took first in the girls’ 15 and under division with a 51.
In the boys’ 12 and under division, Braelon Tatafu took first with a nine-hole score of 53. Kellen Moran placed second at 66 and Evan Kawasaki earned third at 75.
Cali Gorder placed first in the girls’ 12 and under division with a 52. Caydee Gorder took second with a 60 and Iyerlee Paulson was third with an 81.
Gage Norgard was the winner in the boys’ 10 and under division with a 51. Rhett Williams took second with a 73 and Greyson Young had an 80 for third place.
Addison Matejovsky shot a 68 for first place in the girls’ 9 and under division. Harper Young placed second with a 112.
Morgan Norgaard shot an 18-hole score of 78 for first in the men’s 35-50 division. Chris Gorder placed second at 85 and Brad Moran took third at 89. Terry Williams earned first in the 65 and older division with a 97.
Mia Frederick took first in the women’s 19-35 division with a 93.
Nicole Paulson shot a 91 for top honors in the women’s 36-50 division. Nathelle Frederick took second at 116 and Mary Blackdog placed third at 138.
