The Froid Bulls posted two home American Legion baseball victories over Wolf Point on Tuesday, July 11.

The Bulls won by the scores of 13-0 and 18-1.

Connor Hudyma pitched the first four innings of the opening game. Gaige Bushman came in relief for the fifth inning.

The Bulls led 3-0 after one inning of play. Wolf Point held Froid scoreless in the second inning as catcher Trevin Boysun threw out a baserunner to highlight the frame.

Froid tallied six runs in the bottom of the third for a 9-0 advantage. Preston Swenson tripled and scored in the inning. Other hits in the frame included a double by Hudyma and a RBI-single by Aiden Leibrand.

The Bulls added four more runs in the fourth for a 13-0 lead.

Froid accounted for an 18-1 victory in the second game.

Swenson pitched the first four innings for the victory. Cooper King threw the last inning.

Wolf Point’s Andrew Dschaak made a great catch in the outfield during the second inning to keep the game within reach.

The Bulls ran off nine runs in the fourth inning en route to the victory.

Leading Froid’s attacks were Hudyma and Jaydeen Hanshew with triples.

The Bulls head to Sidney on Wednesday, July 19.
