Bulls Post Legion Victories In Watford City

The Froid Bulls posted two victories during the American Legion baseball tournament in Watford City, N.D.

The Bulls fell against the Billings Expos by a 14-5 margin on Thursday, June 8. Aiden Leibrand scored two runs and had two hits for the Bulls. Preston Swenson connected for a double.

Froid outscored Williston’s 15s by a 16-15 final on Friday, June 9. Gaige Bushman hit a walk-off line drive to end the contest.

Swenson scored four of the Bulls’ runs. Adding three runs each were Connor Hudyma and Jaydoen Henshaw.

Swenson finished with three hits including a double.

The Bulls and Glasgow battled in a pitching dual on Saturday, June 10. The game was scoreless after five innings. The Reds won by a 3-0 final. Pitching for the Bulls were Swenson and Ty Leischner.

Froid came up short against Glendive, 9-8, on Sunday, June 11.

Khye Gamas, Hudyma and Henry Kukowski had two hits each to lead the Bulls.

Froid is scheduled to play at Miles City on Tuesday, June 20, and at Wolf Point on Wednesday, June 21.
