Wolves Tennis Players Qualify For State

Three Wolf Point tennis players qualified for the state tournament during divisional action in Glendive last weekend.

The doubles team of Kaleah Miller-Toves and Kaylee Johnson placed second at the tournament. They defeated teams from Poplar and Baker during the first day of the tournament to advance into the championship match.

Mahala Moran, a senior, earned third place in singles to qualify for the state tournament.

Moran downed players from Poplar and Forsyth during the first two rounds of action.

Dropping singles’ matches were Jeina Reum, Tanna Guldborg and Riley Schwarzrock.

The team of Nevaeh Graham and Azalei Ackerman won one match in doubles’ action.

The state tournament starts Thursday, May 25, in Great Falls.
