Junior High Athletes Place In Glasgow

 

Wolf Point ended its junior high track season on a high note in Glasgow on Friday, May 12.

In the girls’ division, Wolf Point’s seventh-grade team took first with 160.5 points. The eighth-grade team took sixth with 20 points and the sixth-grade team placed fourth with 64 points.

Earning first in the seventh- grade division were Amirah Oleyte in the 200, Adalynn Smith in the 100 and long jump, Cadence Bouldin in the 800, Harper Weeks in the 200-meter hurdles and Mackenzie Jackson in the discus. The 400-meter relay team of Bouldin, Oleyte, Smith and Weeks finished first.

Taking second were Jackson in the shot put, Weeks in the 100-meter hurdles, Bouldin in the 400 and Mattie Azure in the 200. Placing third were Oleyte in the 100, Aniya Smoker in the 200 and Ta’Leigha Headdress in the discus.

Earning fourth were the 400-meter relay team of Stephanie Martell, Smoker, Azure and Monica Uy, Martell in the 200-meter hurdles, Azure in the 400 and Uy in the 200. Placing fifth were Justyne Martell in the 200 and Kaleigha Laverdure in the shot put and discus.

In the eighth-grade division, Adalynn Smith placed second and Cadence Bouldin took fourth in the 100. Ryelei Bauer was fourth in the discus.

In the sixth-grade division, Elan Peters earned first in the discus.

McKinlee Paulson took third in the 100-meter hurdles, third in the 200-meter hurdles and in the long jump.

Peters placed third in the shot put. Laila Lovan was fifth in the discus and sixth in the shot put.

Ashlynn Johannessen finished fourth in the 800. McKenzie Rodenberg was fifth in the 400. Brandalynn Martell took sixth in the 200.

In the boys’ division, Wolf Point scored 112.5 points for second in eighth grade. Wolf Point had 56 points in seventh grade and 43.5 points in sixth grade.

For eighth-grade boys, Jaycee Hilkeman took first in the 1600 and 800. Jayden Dominique earned first in the 200-meter hurdles. The 400-meter relay team of Dominique, Hilkeman, Jay Davis and Martavius Badhawk and the 1600-meter relay ream of Badhawk, Davis, Hilkeman and Jesse Reed took first place.

Zandon Calder took second in the shot put and fourth in the discus. Reed was second in the 800. The 400-meter relay team of Aaryn Hamilton, Chasan Welch, Calder and Kashtin Lizotte placed third. Dominique was third and Ezekial Gourneau was fifth in the 110-meter hurdles. Taking sixth were Gourneau in the 800 and Kevin Brock in the 200 and 400.

For seventh grade, Jay Davis took first in the 100 and 200. Martavius Badhawk earned first in the long jump.

Jaycee Hilkeman placed second and Badhawk took sixth in the 100. Badhawk added a third in the 200. Carlo Weiser placed fourth in the 400. For sixth grade, Damari Martinez earned first in the high jump and triple jump. He placed fourth in the long jump and fifth in the 200.

Kayeiko Villaluz took second in the triple jump, sixth in the long jump and fifth in the 100.
