Golfers Qualify For State Tourney

Bainville and Froid/Lake each qualified a girl for the state meet during the divisional tournament held in Laurel on Monday, May 8.

Bainville’s Kaelyn Romo shot an 128 to qualify for the state competition.

Low score for Bainville’s boys was Alex Strickland at 119.

Froid/Lake’s Addison Elvsaas finished at 127 to place 18th and qualify for state.

Sol Grainger shot an 117 to lead Froid/Lake’s boys. Other scores for the Red Hawks were Patton Bighorn at 128, Trent Williams at 130, Austen Hobbs at 133 and Makaylee Elvsaas at 170.

Scores were Culbertson’s golfers were Mark Kirkaldie at 125, Hugh Donaldson at 135, Mathew Wadsworth at 143, Will Salvevold at 222, Kylie Bergum at 157 and Macy Lambert at 181,
