Area Golfers Place At Poplar Invitational

Golfers from Poplar and Wolf Point were among the competitors during the Poplar Invitational held at the Wolf Point Airport Country Club on Thursday, May 4.

Glasgow’s Riley Smith shot an 81 to earn medalist honors.

Poplar’s Landon Young placed fifth with an 87. Wolf Point’s Trevin Boysun tied for sixth place with an 89.

Poplar’s Preston Ogle finished with a 94 for 11th place.

Wolf Point’s Logan Bushman shot a 98. Poplar’s Quinn Sutherland finished with a 99. Wolf Point’s Gaige Bushman had a score of 103. Poplar’s Kaniel Ricker shot an 106. Poplar’s Lukas Young finished at 109. Michael Young’s score was 180.
