Wolves Win Matches During Opening Action in Baker

 

Wolf Point’s tennis team experienced its first action of the season on Saturday, April 15, when the Wolves competed in Baker.

A highlight of the day was the doubles team of Kaylee Johnson and Kaleah Miller- Toves posting a 2-0 record.

The doubles team of Azalei Ackerman and Nevaeh Graham had a record of 0-2.

Jeina Reum and Tanna Guldborg came away with a 1-1 record in doubles’ action.

Riley Benson and Reum dropped their doubles’ match.

In singles’ play, Mahala Moran played well but had a record of 0-2.

Benton and Graham had 0-1 records in singles’ action.

The Wolves will travel to Billings to compete in the Red Lodge Invitational on Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22. The Wolves will then host Poplar on Tuesday, April 25.

Wolf Point plays hosts to this year’s divisional meet in Glendive. Wolf Point can’t hold the tournament because the community has only two courts and four courts are required.
