Lions Down Dodson, 66-23

Lustre’s boys’ basketball team ended the regular season undefeated as the Lions earned a 66-23 victory in Dodson on Saturday, Feb. 11.

Lustre took control from the start by earning a 21-5 lead in the first quarter.

The Lions then struck for 25 points in the second quarter for a 46-11 advantage. Lustre led 61-17 after three quarters of play.

Reaching double figures for the Lions were Jasiah Hambira with 16, Elijah Lenihan with 12 and Cayden Klatt with 11 points.

Also scoring were Bryon Ewing with four, Johnslee Pierre with four, Prestyn Klatt with three, Cam Reddig with two, Alex Chen with two and Terran Joseph with two.

Leading Dodson were Mikey Jaynes and Mason LoneBear with nine points each.

The District 3C tournament begins on Thursday, Feb. 16, in Glasgow.
