Bulldogs Lose Contest To Wildcats, 51-34

 

Bainville’s girls dropped their contest against league-leader Plentywood, 51-34, during conference action on Friday, Feb. 10.

Plentywood gained a 16-5 lead in the first quarter. Annie Kaul led the attack with seven points in the period.

The Wildcats increased their advantage to 34-17 at the half. Malloy Tommerup connected on two three-pointers in the second quarter.

Bainville played evenly with Plentywood in the second half as each team scored 12 points in the third quarter and five points in the final period.

Elsie Wilson led the Bulldogs with 14 points.

Also scoring were Miah Pippenger with eight, Hailey Berwick with seven, Lila Butikofer with two, Kendra Romo with two and Talley Berwick with one point.

Leading Plentywood were Kaul with 15, Emma Brensdal with 14 and Tommerup with 12 points.
