Bainville Girls Earn Win Over Brockton
Bainville posted a 71-30 girls’ basketball win over Brockton at home on Saturday, Jan. 28.
The Bulldogs struck for 19 points in the opening quarter for a 19-3 lead. Elsie Wilson scored seven and Hailey Berwick added six points in the period.
Bainville added 17 more points in the second period for a 36-7 advantage. Lile Butikofer tallied seven points in the quarter.
The Bulldogs held a 55-24 advantage at the end of the third quarter.
Top scorers for the Bulldogs were Wilson with 16 and Kendra Romo with 10 points. Berwick added nine points.
Butikofer and Brecklyn Pippenger added seven points each. Also scoring were Chandi Johnson with six, Miah Pippenger with four, Kaelyn Romo with four, Tally Berwick with three, Addison Hansen with three and Sadie Ullmer with two points.
KayJay First That Walks scored 11 points for Brockton.
The Bulldogs will host Richey/Lambert on Friday, Feb. 3, and travel to Circle on Saturday, Feb. 4.
