Lustre Girls Lose Game Against Dodson

Lustre’s girls’ basketball squad earned a 42-39 home victory over Dodson on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Alexa Reddig scored nine points in the first quarter to lead the Lions to a 14-9 lead.

Lustre exploded for 18 points in the second quarter including nine by Grace Brown to gain a 32-14 lead.

The Lions held a 36-21 advantage after three quarters of play. Dodson scored 18 points in the fourth quarter, but Lustre held on for the three-point victory.

Top scorers for the Lions were Reddig with 19 and Brown with 11 points.

Also scoring were Aubri Holzrichter with eight, Lauryn Holzrichter with two and Hannah Brown with two.
