Bainville Loses League Game In Savage

 

Bainville put up a good fight before falling in Savage, 65-58, in girls’ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 20.

The Bulldogs took a 16-13 lead in the first quarter as Elsie Wilson led the attack with nine points in the period.

Savage moved ahead 30-27 in the second quarter and held a 47-43 advantage after three quarters of action.

The Warriors outscored Bainville 18-15 in the fourth quarter despite 10 points by Hailey Berwick.

Bainville’s top scorers were Berwick with 17 and Wilson with 14 points. Also scoring were Kendra Romo with eight, Lila Butikofer with eight, Brecklyn Pippenger with seven and Tally Berwick with four points.

Reaching double figures for Savage were Teah Conradsen with 19, Taylor Conradsen with 14, Brooke Reuter with 12 and Cambry Conradsen with 11 points.
