Froid Students Place At BPA Meet
The Froid Business Professionals of America program excelled at the regional meet in Lambert last week. Of 18 students participating, 22 qualified for the state competition.
Earning first-place honors were Solomon Grainger for advanced spreadsheet applications, and Cian Logan for extemporaneous speech and integrated office applications.
Placing second were Kaylee Olson for advanced interview skills, Nate Stentoft for advanced spreadsheet applications, Makaylee Elvsaas for extemporaneous speech and integrated office applications and Macie Elvsaas for fundamental spreadsheet applications.
The team of Lilly Johnson, Owen Logan and Cody Olson took third for podcast production team. Also placing third were Baylee Davidson for advanced office procedures, C. Logan for banking and finance, O. Logan for fundamental spreadsheet applications and Elise Logan for health administration procedures and integrated office applications.
Earning fourth were Mason Dethman for advanced interview skills, Dasani Nesbit for advanced office procedures, C. Logan for advanced spreadsheet applications and entrepreneurship, Olson for banking and finance, Vala Gregor for fundamental spreadsheet applications, Grainger for integrated office applications and the podcast production team of M. Elvsaas and E. Logan.
Taking fifth were C. Logan for interview skills, Stentoft for integrated office applications, Samantha Austin for fundamental spreadsheet applications, K. Olson for fundamental accounting, Dethman for extemporaneous speech, Grainger for banking and finance and E. Logan for advanced spreadsheet applications.
Earning sixth were Johnson in fundamental spreadsheet applications and C. Olson in fundamental word processing. O. Logan took seventh in fundamental word processing. Gregor placed seventh in fundamental spreadsheet applications. E. Logan was seventh in advanced word processing.
Johnson placed eighth in intermediate word processing. Austin took ninth and M. Elvsaas was 10th in the event. Stentoft was ninth and Dethman took 10th in fundamental accounting. Roberto Orozco was 10th in banking and finance. C. Olson took 10th in fundamental spreadsheet applications. Davidson took 10th in health administration procedures.
