Froid/Lake Girls Stop Fusion

 

Froid/Lake’s girls’ basketball team struck for 13 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Richey/Lambert Fusion by a 39-28 final on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The Red Hawks gained an 8-3 lead in the first quarter as Brooklyn Nordwick scored four points. Froid/Lake held an 18-11 advantage at the half.

Ahead 26-21 after three quarters of play, the Red Hawks tallied 13 points in the fourth period. Dasani Nesbit scored 10 of those points.

Top scorers were Baylee Davidson with 14 and Nesbit with 13 points. Also scoring were Nordwick and Mara Salvevold with six points each.

Leading the Fusion were Jolee Klempel with eight, Shaelyn Williams with seven and Lauren Prevost with six points.
