Bulldogs Lose To Fairview Girls

Bainville’s girls’ basketball team experienced a tough second quarter and lost in Fairview by a 43-35 final on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The Bulldogs gained a 9-6 lead in the first quarter as Hailey Berwick put in five points.

Fairview responded by outscoring the Bulldogs by a 15-4 margin in the second quarter to take a 21-13 lead.

The Warriors then struck for 10 points in the third quarter for a 31-19 advantage.

Bainville’s top scorers were Elsie Wilson with 13 and H. Berwick with 11 points.

Also scoring were Tally Berwick with six, Kendra Romo with three and Miah Pippenger with two points.

Leading Fairview were Emily Johnson with 11, Carly Buxbaum with nine and Macy Tjelde with eight points.
