The Frazer School will be having a back to school carnival for all students and parents to hand out registration packets and to allow the students to meet with their new teachers Aug. 11. Glasgow’s Rod Karst was honored at the annual Montana Coaches Association awards ceremony was held throughout Great Falls this week. Coaches from across the state, and even a select few outside of it, showed up to honor the exceptional coaches earning their accolades. A widespread fish kill on Rock Creek and the Milk River north of Hinsdale is being investigated by Fish, Wildlife & Parks fisheries biologists. A landowner reported the incident on July 13. Upon investigation, biologists observed dead fish downstream of the confluence of the Milk River and Rock Creek. Further searching found dead fish 9.5 miles from the mouth of Rock Creek up to the Rock

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter Education in-person course date has been set for Monday, Aug. 8, in Glasgow. All hunter education classes are free of charge. In-person, instructor-led hunter education classroom courses are available to anyone age 10 and older. Students must be registered prior to attending a class.
