Savage nipped the Culbertson Cowgirls in an exciting five-set match held in Savage on Saturday, Sept. 24. Savage won the conference match by a 15-25, 25-21, 25-11, 20-25, 15-7, final. Trailing two sets to one, the Cowgirls gained a 14-12 lead in the fourth set on a kill by Perla Burciaga and an ace by Destiny Thompson. A block by Jazzmin Fugere helped Culbertson keep the lead at 19-18.

Bainville capped a strong volleyball week by beating MonDak in straight sets at home on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Bulldogs downed MonDak by a 25-14, 25-14, 2517, final.
