County Reports Nine Active COVID Cases

Roosevelt County reported nine active COVID cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. There have been 3,729 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Free at-home test kits are available from COVID.gov/ tests. These tests are:

• Rapid antigen at-home tests

• Can be taken anywhere

• Give results within 30 minutes (no lab drop-off required) • Work whether or not you have COVID-19 symptoms

• Work whether or not you are up to date on your COVID-19 vaccines

Area Statistics

Daniels County had zero active cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. The county has 448 cumulative cases. Valley County reported five active cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. The county has 2,057 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there were zero active cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. There have been 432 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had one active cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. There have been 864 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 317,135 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,050 active cases and 888 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Nov. 18, a total of 3,587 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,602 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 38 active cases as of Thursday, Nov. 17.

McKenzie County, N.D., had 12 active cases as of Thursday, Nov. 17.

Divide County, N.D., had one active case as of Thursday, Nov. 17.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Nov. 18, 1,606,399 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 564,754 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 14,789 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Nov. 18. There are 5,810 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,063 total doses have been administered. There are 3,289 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,945 total doses have been administered. There are 702 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,223 total doses have been administered. There are 431 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,417 total doses have been administered. There are 1,841 fully immunized for 56 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
