Radke To Headline Farm Bureau Fall Fest

Enjoy a national agricultural advocacy speaker, a delicious dinner and live music at the Farm Bureau Fall Fest Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Richland County Fairgrounds Event Center in Sidney. The four-county Farm Bureaus in Montana Farm Bureau’s District 6 — Richland, McCone, Dawson-Wibaux and Prairie — invite everyone to celebrate a successful harvest at this first-ever Farm Bureau Fall Fest.

Guest speaker Amanda Radke, a fifth-generation rancher from Mitchell, S.D., has dedicated her career to serving as a voice for the nation’s farmers and ranchers. She regularly tackles industry issues as a blogger, columnist, investigative journalist, speaker and entertainer.

She shares, “Today’s consumer wants to know more about where their food comes from, but they aren’t getting their information from farmers and ranchers; they are getting their information from the loud voices of animal welfare activists, environmentalist zealots, biased media reporters, healthc are practitioners with plantbased agendas and celebrity influencers.”

Radke will motivate and inspire listeners to step up to the challenge of advocating for agriculture and give them the tools needed to succeed along the way.

“During my presentation, we’ll take a deep dive into what these voices are saying about us and how we can most effectively respond as producers to protect our freedoms to farm, our freedoms to own livestock, and our freedom of choice at the grocery store,” Radke said.

The Fall Fest kicks off with a social at 5 p.m., with dinner and the keynote speaker at 5:30 p.m., followed by dancing to live music by Time in the Saddle. Tickets can be purchased online at mfbf. org/events or at the door. Online registration can be done through Oct. 1. Farm Bureau membership is not required to attend.
