County’s COVID Vaccination Level Hits 55 Percent

Roosevelt County currently has 10 active COVID cases. There have been 3,342 total cases in the county.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had one active cases as of Friday, July 1. The county has 395 cumulative cases. Valley County reported 19 active cases as of Friday, July 1. The county has 1,777 cumulative cases. In McCone County, there were two active cases as of Friday, July 1. There have been 391 cumulative cases.

For Richland County, there were five active cases as of Friday, July 1. There have been 2,715 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had 11 active cases as of Friday, July 1. There have been 745 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 287,145 since the start of the pandemic.

Around the state, there are 2,447 active cases and 2,104 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, July 1, a total of 3,445 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 12,388 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 61 active cases as of Thursday, June 30.

McKenzie County, N.D., had 14 active cases as of Thursday, June 30.

Divide County, N.D., had four active cases as of Thursday, June 30.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, July 1, 1,500,164 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 567,828 or 56 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 13,245 total doses have been administered as of Friday, July 1. There are 5,425 fully immunized for 55 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,806 total doses have been administered. There are 710 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,162 total doses have been administered. There are 432 fully immunized for 28 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 4,970 total doses have been administered. There are 1,854 fully immunized for 60 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
