FPCC Wellness Center To Close In Poplar

The FPCC’s Wellness Center in Poplar will close its doors on June 30.

The building has housed a bowling alley, a roller rink, and for the past 20 years, Poplar’s only fitness center. With the addition of the Thundering Buffalo Wellness Center to the Poplar community, the FPCC Wellness Center will close to take on its next form.

Officials say they have no doubt that the new Thundering Buffalo Wellness Center will provide everything needed and more to continue residents’ exercise routine without skipping a beat. The center features beautiful, brand new, state-of-the-art equipment, an indoor track, a swimming pool and basketball courts.

Officials thank the entire FPCC Wellness Department staff members for their dedication to health and respect of the equipment and facility.

FPCC’s Wolf Point Wellness Center will remain open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday (hours subject to change based on staffing, check the Facebook page @ FPCC Wellness Center).

There will be a liquidation sale regarding the equipment in the Poplar Wellness Center. All equipment will be posted for sale on Facebook Marketplace starting the beginning of July, and there will have an in-person garage sale on the weekend of July 16, for whatever hasn’t sold online. All proceeds from gym sales will directly benefit the FPCC Wellness Dept./Wellness Center in Wolf Point.
