Culbertson Plans Budget Hearing, Bathhouse Grant Funds Pending

The Town of Culbertson is planning a budget meeting in June to finalize plans for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Town clerk Tiffani Jasper told the Community News that the town is still waiting on grant news for the municipal pool bathhouse project. She said budget plans will depend on grant awards. Plans to build a new building at Culbertson’s Big Sky Field Airport will likely have to wait another year, but talks are ongoing.

The preliminary budget has been placed on file and is open to inspection in the office of the Town Clerk, 210 Broadway Ave.

The council will meet in the Town Hall on Monday, June 13, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of discussing and preparing final budget appropriations. Any taxpayer or resident may appear at the meeting and be heard for or against any part of the budget. Budget hearings may continue from meeting to meeting.
