The Wolf Point Wolves placed in the team standings during the Gene Nelson Memorial Invitational held on Friday, May 6.

Wolf Point’s boys finished with 83 points for third place behind Glasgow with 140.5 points and Scobey with 136.5 points.

The Lady Wolves took fourth with 51 points behind Scobey with 165, Glasgow with 97 and Saco with 78 points.

Three of Wolf Point’s boys earned individual titles at the meet. Mason Garfield took first in the shot put with a mark of 43-1, Peyton Summers finished first in the 1600 at 4:40.49 and Kholby SpottedWolf took first in the 3200 at 10:55.11.

Maddox Reum finished second in the 100 at 11.77 seconds and second in the 200 at 23.8 seconds. Also placing second were Ethan Blount in the 1600 at 4:42.72 and Garfield in the discus at 119-08.

Earning third were Garfield in the javelin at 124-5, Kraven Silk in the 200 at 23.94 seconds and Summer in the 800 with a time of 2:09.86.

Blount finished fifth in the 800 at 2:14.82.

Russell Turcotte took sixth in the shot put at 36-7 and Devon Yellowrobe took seventh at 36-0. Yellowrobe was ninth in the discus at 97-06 and Shastin Damon took 10th at 97-02.

In the girls’ division, Katelyn MacDonald led the way by earning first in the javelin at 110-6 and fourth in the shot put at 28-11.

Kylie Rodenberg had a solid day with a second in the long jump at 14-7, second in the 100-meter hurdles at 14.26, third in the triple jump at 28-5 and third in the 100-meter dash at 14.26 seconds.

Azalei Ackerman placed fourth in the triple jump at 27-0 and took ninth in the long jump at 12-5.

Josie Kolstad earned fourth in the javelin at 91-10 and finished seventh in the 400 at 1:09.26.

Joli Beston earned sixth in the 1600 at 7:40.68. Adeia Erickson took 10th in the long

jump at 12-4.
